I can’t help but feel that I’m on a prophetic journey. As I wait in the terminal for the first leg of my flight, I can’t help but feel that God had this all planned out. It was a little over a month ago that I received an invitation to minister in Scotland with some friends and I sensed that it was something God wanted me to do.

So I knew that I was to preach in Scotland and spend some time with a prophet who is fast becoming a dear friend. What I didn’t know was that God would send two prophets my way, in Dr. David Ireland and Denny Cramer, and that they would speak similar words concerning mine and Tara’s future. So if that wasn’t enough to make me understand that this is a “prophetic season” in my life, I realize that on both my Mother’s and Father’s sides of the family is a strong Scottish heritage. Stewart is of course a Scottish name, and my Mother’s maternal side has very strong Scott-Irish roots.

When I go back home to Indiana, I always have a strong sense of no matter where I go or what I do, I’ll always be a country boy from Laconia. When I return from Scotland to the frigid steel town of Pittsburgh, I will invariably be reminded at some point that I love da Pens and da Stillers. As I visit for the first time my roots in Scotland, I feel that there is something that God wants me to come away with knowing. And I know that this prophetic process is going to be one great adventure.

Please pray that God does an incredible work while we are here. We want to be an encouragement and blessing to the wonderful people we meet and I can’t help but feel that God is up to something good.
